Job summary

HealthPro Heritage seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist for a PRN opportunity at our Orchard Park, NY assisted living community. Therapy services are offered Monday through Friday with no evenings or weekends, at an hourly rate of $58-$60.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist or licensure eligible in the state.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment: evaluate speech, language, voice, and swallowing using standardized tests and observations.
• Treatment and education: implement evidence-based therapies and educate patients and families.
• Documentation: maintain accurate records of evaluations and progress.
• Collaboration: work with healthcare providers and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
