Edgar P. Benjamin Healthcare Center in Boston, MA is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team.

This skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility values compassionate, patient-centered care and collaboration with a supportive nursing staff. The SLP will evaluate swallowing and cognitive deficits, develop individualized treatment plans, provide AAC systems, educate residents and caregivers, and coordinate with other professionals to ensure high-quality therapy

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' swallowing and cognitive deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Provide speech-language assessments and education to residents and caregivers.
• Provide AAC systems for severe communication disorders.
• Coordinate with physicians and other professionals for diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain accurate billing records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality and comply with regulations.
