Job summary

Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, Arkansas seeks a PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join and support its Physical Therapy department. The SLP evaluates and treats infants, children and adults with various speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

The clinician develops individualized treatment plans, ensures accurate patient charges and timely documentation, and participates in infection control and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Speech and Language Therapy.
• Current CCC-SLP certification.
• Current BLS certification upon hire or during orientation and maintained thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct and administer speech therapy for infants, children and adults with speech, language, communication, and/or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop individual treatment programs to maximize each client’s potential.
• Ensure patient charges and documentation are accurate and entered timely.
