Job summary

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, AR is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Rehab Services. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, conduct MBS studies, and educate patients and families.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Arkansas SLP license, CCC-SLP, and BLS. You will work with an interdisciplinary team across inpatient and outpatient settings to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Arkansas SLP license is required.
  • CCC-SLP certification is required.
  • BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognition, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders; educate patients and families.
  • Perform Modified Barium Swallow studies and plan therapy based on results.
  • Document charges and clinical progress accurately; maintain timely progress notes.
  • Educate patients and families; conduct staff in-services on communication and swallowing issues.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team across inpatient and outpatient settings; participate in performance improvement.
