Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for PRN opportunities. You will evaluate and treat patients to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing, within a collaborative rehabilitation team and well-resourced environment.

You will document progress, educate families, and coordinate with physicians and care managers to ensure smooth transitions and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required for the role.
• SLP certification/license required.
• BLS/CPR within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities using structured assessments.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans for communication and swallowing goals.
• Document evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, safety, and home strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing and rehab staff for coordinated care.
