Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services Corporation’s Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation unit seeks a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) in Fuquay-Varina, NC. You will assess and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in home, community, school, or workplace settings, developing individualized plans and re-evaluating progress.

This autonomous yet collaborative role offers flexible, self-directed scheduling, paid hourly compensation, and travel/mileage reimbursement,

Qualifications

Master’s degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
Current CPR certification in accordance with state requirements.
Minimum of one year of work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injuries preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; may assist with patient transfers up to 100 pounds.
Ability to perform duties requiring prolonged standing, walking, and mobility.

Responsibilities

Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Reassess treatment effectiveness, attend staff meetings and family conferences.
Complete discharge evaluations and provide home and community safety recommendations.
Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team and families.
Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
