Victorian Post Acute is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join its in-house therapy program. The role offers flexible per diem scheduling with opportunities to pick up shifts, and a supportive interdisciplinary team including PT/OT staff and nursing.

Qualifications

• Active California SLP license in good standing.
• CCC-SLP preferred or eligibility per state regulations.
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled speech-language pathology services addressing speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform clinical swallowing assessments and implement dysphagia management programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, dietitians, rehabilitation professionals, residents, and families to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, recertifications, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and discharge planning meetings.
• Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on communication techniques, swallowing precautions, and home exercise programs.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, facility, and documentation standards.
