Job summary

HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) to provide patient-centered care. You will develop individualized therapy plans for patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing impairments and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment progression, charting, and collaboration with the rehab team to determine appropriate patient placement and goals. Prior experience and CCC-SLP are desired.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• CCC-SLP certification required.
• 1 year of experience with speech-language pathology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct subjective assessments of patients' speech-language abilities during conversation.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs.
• Regularly evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize outcomes.
• Document progress in patient charts, notes, charges and discharge summaries.
• Consult with Program Director and Rehab Physician regarding patient placement and pre-screen assessments.
