Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensed as a speech language pathologist in WI, IL, or both if required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-ASHA).
• CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess using evidence-based standards to plan care.
• Apply integrative treatment to improve patient function.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and proper coding/billing.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and referring providers to improve outcomes.
• Mentor new partners and participate in department training and cost-saving initiatives.
• Travel to other locations for cross-coverage as needed.
• Lead and participate in Performance Improvement processes.
• Communicate effectively with nursing, rehab teams and physicians.
