Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a PRN Days role at Mosaic Life Care at St Joseph Medical Center in Saint Joseph, MO. The position requires flexible day coverage, including weekends and holidays, with 8:00am-4:30pm shifts.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders; develop individualized plans; educate patients and families; and collaborate with care teams while documenting progress accurately.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
• CPR certification required; acute or rehab setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
