Job summary

AllStar Therapies is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis in a skilled nursing environment. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans and collaborate with physicians and staff to improve communication, cognition and swallowing.

The role emphasizes flexible PRN scheduling, ongoing education, and delivering care that supports patient quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current SLP license in the state of practice.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY considered based on facility needs.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans.
• Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide therapy services per physician orders and care plans.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers on treatment plans and home strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing and rehabilitation teams for coordinated care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and ensure regulatory compliance.

AllStar Therapies is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans

• Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders

• Provide therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established plans of care

• Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and home strategies

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, and families to ensure coordinated care

• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations

Qualifications

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of practice

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered based on facility needs

• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• CPR certification preferred
