Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform general, vascular and/or cardiac studies.
• Reviews patient records and orders to ensure exam accuracy and gather necessary clinical information.
• Positions patient and selects transducer and settings to obtain quality images.
• Identifies and labels images with patient details and location of scan.
• Maintains documentation and billing codes in the radiology information system.
