Job summary

Heartland Imaging in Louisville, KY is seeking a Part-time Sonographer for a PRN position in outpatient imaging. You will perform Ultrasound exams, ensure safety, efficiency, and comfort for patients during visits.

Requirements include RVT certification plus ARDMS or ARRT(S); state licensure; graduate of approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Outpatient imaging center environment with flexible scheduling and differential pay for certain shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• RVT certification required upon hire; ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification required.
• Must meet state licensure requirements for the state practiced.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging in an outpatient setting.
• Perform exams safely, efficiently, and with patient comfort in mind.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience throughout the visit.

Sonographer - PRN (as needed, outpatient)

As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience. You’ll use your experience and expertise to perform Ultrasound exams safely and efficiently, while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. This PRN opportunity is ideal if you’re an experienced technologist who enjoys flexibility and is comfortable working as needed in an outpatient imaging environment.

Job Details

• Position Status: PRN
• Schedule: As needed for staffing coverage
• Ultrasound Department Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Location: Outpatient Imaging Center in Louisville, KY on 7807 Shelbyville Rd.
• Requirements: RVT certification is required for this position.

• Must meet the applicable state licensure requirements for the state in which they practice.
