Job summary

Heartland Imaging is seeking a Part-Time Flex Sonographer in Louisville, KY, to perform high-quality ultrasound exams in an outpatient imaging center. The role offers a flexible schedule (30-40 hours/week), a $2,500 sign-on bonus, and benefits eligibility.

Must be RVT/ RDMS certified with OB, Abdominal, or General credentials, and licensed per state requirements. No on-call or rotating weekends; competitive benefits include health/dental/vision, paid time off after 3 months, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Must be registered through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or ARRT (S).
• RVT certification is required upon hire.
• OB, Abdominal, or General certification is required upon hire.
• Must meet the applicable state licensure requirements for the state in which they practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams safely and efficiently in an outpatient imaging environment.
• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and care.
• Provide flexible, part-time coverage with a 30-40 hour work week as needed.
• Maintain compliance with credentialing and licensure requirements.

As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience. You’ll use your experience and expertise to perform Ultrasound exams safely and efficiently, while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. This opportunity is ideal if you’re an experienced technologist who enjoys flexibility and is comfortable working as needed in an outpatient imaging environment.
