• Strong assessment and treatment skills for adult communication, cognition, and swallowing.
• Effective communication and timely, accurate documentation.
• Geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills to identify rehabilitation needs.
• Develop treatment goals aligned with residents' daily activities.
• Provide individualized interventions for expression, comprehension, memory, and problem solving.
• Treat swallowing disorders and communicate recommendations to staff.
• Educate residents and caregivers on communication supports for daily use.
• Maintain clinical records and contribute care/discharge recommendations.
