Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc in Ventura, CA is seeking a Scrub Technician to anticipate the needs of the surgical team and establish and maintain a sterile field during procedures in the operating room.

The successful candidate will assist physicians with operative procedures, ensure instrument sterility, perform counts, and support the circulating nurse and team to maintain a safe, efficient surgical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Surgical Technologist State License required.
• Surgical Technologist National Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with operative procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon's needs before and during procedures.
• Maintain sterile environment and protect patient safety.
• Perform instrument counts pre- and intra-operatively.
• Gown and glove surgeons and staff.
• Transport equipment and assist in instrument reprocessing.
