Job summary

HSHS in Springfield, IL seeks a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department for PRN shifts. You will deliver high‑quality nursing care to critically ill patients and support families with compassionate presence in stressful times.

Required: RN license in the state, BLS, and experience in critical care; ACLS preferred; SANE certification is required. Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and education assistance.

Pay Range:

$34.00 - $51.00

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Registered Nurses (RNs) in the Critical Care setting are incredibly important members of the medical team who have the humbling task of caring for our sickest and most vulnerable patients. RNs not only provide high-quality medical care but they also provide a healing touch and a compassionate presence to patients and their families during joyful stressful and uncertain times.
