Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department at St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham, IL.

This full-time night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) offers a 36-hour workweek with weekend and holiday rotation and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for experienced RNs. Ideal candidates will hold an accredited nursing degree, IL RN licensure (with BSN preferred) and BLS; ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required based on patient population, with critical care

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing.
• IL RN license required.
• BSN is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required based on population.

Pay Range:

$34.00 - $51.00

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department. RNs in this setting provide high-quality medical care alongside a healing touch and compassionate presence to support patients and families during joyful, stressful, and uncertain times.

Position Specifics:

• Core Function: Nursing


• Schedule: Full-Time Nights, 36 hours/week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekend and holiday rotation

Education Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.


• Bachelor's of science in nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.


• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are required based on the patient population in the specialty area worked.


• Specialty certifications based on patient population such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) are preferred.
