Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN, is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN/On-Call shifts across Days, Evenings and Nights. The RN will provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process, coordinate with residents and families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.

Candidates must be a licensed RN in Minnesota with a nursing degree; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed RN in Minnesota.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Coordinate care with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff; ensure safe, reliable resident care.
