Job summary

OMS Consulting seeks PRN registered nurses to provide patient care before, during, and after dental procedures across multiple states. Nurses must start IVs and monitor patients under moderate sedation in clinical settings.

Multi-state licensure is required for travel outside of Virginia. Travel expenses are covered; nurses are employed as 1099 contractors and can pick up shifts across locations in MD and VA.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with multi-state authorization.
• Ability to start IVs and monitor patients under moderate sedation.
• Experience in ER, Pre/Post Op, Surgery, or Flight nursing is a plus.

Job description

OMS Consulting is a traveling oral surgery company, and we perform extractions (usually wisdom teeth) in dental clinics across 15 states. We are growing and are hiring PRN nurses to provide patient care before, during, and after their procedure. Nurses will need to be proficient in starting IVs and monitoring patient under moderate sedation.

Nurses can pick up in multiple locations if desired, but a multi-state license is required for working outside of Virginian. We have a location in Baltimore and Gaithersburg, Maryland and Fairfax, Virginia and soon to be Stafford, VA. We cover travel expenses nurses, including travel time. Nurses are required to work one shift per month, but are welcome to work more shifts if available.

Pay is $45/hour plus travel expenses if applicable. Nurses are employed as 1099 contractors.

Nursing experience in any of the following areas are a plus: ER, Pre/Post Op, Surgery, Flight.
