Qualifications

  • ADN or higher from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current NM RN license or Compact State RN license.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process, evaluate outcomes, and collaborate with physicians and team members.
  • Coordinate care with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to promote positive outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and informed consent.
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and professional development activities.
