  • Rural healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee daily operations of assigned nursing units and clinical services.
  • Ensure delivery of safe, effective, patient-centered care per standards and evidence-based practice.
  • Monitor staffing levels, patient acuity, and resource utilization for appropriate care delivery.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and care coordination.
  • Address operational concerns and implement solutions to improve service delivery and patient experience.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, mentor, and retain nursing staff; conduct evaluations and development.
  • Promote staff engagement, recognition, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor quality indicators and patient safety metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, CMS requirements, HIPAA, and privacy requirements.
  • Assist in budget development and management; monitor labor and resource utilization.
  • Partner with hospital leadership to achieve strategic goals and participate in committees.
