Job summary

Elim Wellspring, a Cassia community in Princeton, MN, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a PRN / On-Call basis. You will provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents and collaborate with a dedicated team.

Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting care, and closely monitoring residents for changes per physician orders. We offer competitive wages and opportunities for growth within a nonprofit organization.

Qualifications

• Current MN Nursing License required.
• CPR certified preferred or willing to get.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician’s orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident’s condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Performs additional duties as required.
