Gaudenzia is seeking dedicated nurses for PRN roles to support clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Move beyond bedside care toward care planning, coordination, and education to promote recovery.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with licensure in the applicable state.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Experience not required; eager to teach fast learners.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial nursing assessment within 24 hours of admission.
• Arrange follow-up exams and health screenings with providers.
• Administer medications and supervise self-administered meds as allowed.
• Maintain inventory and accurate medical records.
• Counsel clients on nutrition, health care, and safety.
• Ensure clients have appropriate medical coverage and provider compliance.
• Support infection control policies and participate in team meetings.
