Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Registered Nurse Home Health to deliver right care at the right time and right place while traveling to patient homes in Baton Rouge, LA. You will assess patients, perform both initial and ongoing assessments, and provide care according to physician orders.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, educating families, ensuring privacy under HIPAA, and taking prompt action when conditions change to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Certificate, Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate).
• 1+ year nursing experience in a clinical care setting.

What is Required?

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, Associates or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• 1+ year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
