Job summary

Good Samaritan – Bethany in Brainerd, Minnesota is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in a 79-bed long-term care facility. You will perform nursing assessments, planning and intervention across shifts, with on-site responsibilities and occasional charge nurse duties.

Must hold an MN RN license and may require a drug screen/background check; enhanced weekend/night differentials and advancement opportunities are offered along with education assistance and daily access

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered Minnesota RN license or multi-state licensure if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care, resident education and liaise with inter-disciplinary teams to meet care needs.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff within scope of practice.
