Job summary

Good Samaritan - Bethany in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN/on-call staffing across multiple shifts. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care, coordinating with families and the care team.

Position requires an unencumbered RN license in Minnesota (multistate licensure acceptable) and completion of required competencies. Drug screen and background checks apply; facility is EEO/AA compliant.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in Minnesota or multistate licensure if NLC state.
• Must obtain and maintain department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care.
• Collaborate with resident, family, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff as appropriate.
