Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Brainerd is responsible for providing individualized care using the nursing process across all care phases. You will collaborate with residents, families and the inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care, and may serve as charge nurse delegating tasks to staff as needed.

This PRN on-call role requires Minnesota RN licensure, a nursing degree (BSN preferred) and commitment to flexible shifts, including weekend rotation and holiday

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in Minnesota.
• Maintains required competencies and department certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident care, assessment, education and nursing interventions; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks.
