Job summary

Chapel Hill Nursing Center in Randallstown, MD seeks an experienced RN to join a 63-bed skilled nursing team. You will provide hands-on care, conduct assessments, and collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and LPNs to ensure residents receive dignified, high-quality care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring health status, documenting in EMR, and supporting care plans. We value compassion, teamwork, and a patient-centered approach in a family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and critical thinking are essential for high-quality resident care.

• Experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assess and monitor residents’ health status and respond promptly to changes.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs as needed.
• Document accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Follow all policies and procedures of the facility.
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
• Attend required educational activities and meetings and document care per policy.

Chapel Hill Nursing Center is a 63-bed skilled nursing facility, located in Randallstown, Maryland. Our top priority is providing respectful, compassionate and exceptional care to seniors in Randallstown, and the surrounding community. We treat our residents like family from the moment you arrive. We’re proud to provide comprehensive senior care, including 24/7 skilled nursing care, memory care, respite care, hospice care, rehabilitation and many more. We are seeking both Per- Diem to work 8 hour shifts and become part of our growing team.

About the Role

As an RN in our skilled nursing facility, you’ll be a cornerstone of our clinical team, providing hands‑on care, critical assessments, and clinical leadership. You'll collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure every resident receives the dignity and support they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Maryland

• CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

• Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus—but we’ll train the right candidate

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
