Village Caregiving: Indianapolis is seeking an experienced and compassionate PRN Registered Nurse to join our home care team in the Greenwood Area. Village Caregiving provides non-medical home care, assisting clients with ADLs from their homes. The RN will visit clients' homes for medical documentation and health assessments, developing personalized care plans based on individual needs. This flexible position allows assessments during day, evening, or weekend hours, scheduled with clients. Pay is $60/hr for up to 2 hours per assessment.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in their homes for one-on-one assessments
• Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify physical, psycho-social, and environmental needs
• Assess patient conditions, chart observations, and perform tasks like vital signs and medication review
• Educate patients and families on home health care strategies and recommend devices or tools to improve quality of life
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, team members, and healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s)
• Current RN license in the state
• Proof of CPR certification
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel locally
