Village Caregiving: Indianapolis is seeking an experienced and compassionate PRN Registered Nurse to join our home care team in the Greenwood Area. We are a non-medical home care agency providing caregivers to assist clients with ADLs in their homes. The RN's primary responsibilities include visiting clients' homes to document medical histories and conduct health assessments. The RN will help develop personalized care plans based on individual needs. This position offers flexible hours, with assessments scheduled during the day, evening, or weekends, as preferred (with clients). Pay is $60/hr, for up to 2 hours per assessment.

Responsibilities

1. Visit patients in their homes for one-on-one assessments.
2. Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify physical, psycho-social, and environmental needs.
3. Assess patient conditions, chart observations, and perform evaluations including vital signs and medication review.
4. Educate patients and families on home health care strategies and recommend devices or tools to improve quality of life.
5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, team members, and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s) or vocational nursing.
2. Current RN license in the state.
3. Proof of current CPR certification.
4. Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
7. Ability to work flexible hours and travel locally.
