Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist III to provide advanced respiratory care in critical settings, including ventilator management, medication administration, and patient assessments.

You will work independently in complex cases, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care while educating patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Current RCP, NBRC-RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in critical care areas such as ICU, CVICU, NICU, or Emergency Departments.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills, with the ability to establish professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapies, including aerosolized medications, airway management, and arterial blood gas sampling.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Manage ventilators, perform weaning, and interpret waveforms; assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Promote safety protocols, electronic documentation, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and precept new employees, students, and peers, fostering a team-oriented environment.
• Engage in professional development and evidence-based practices to enhance care quality.
