Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist III to provide advanced respiratory care in critical care settings, including ventilator management and airway procedures. The role includes patient assessments, education for patients and families, and collaboration with care teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The therapist will also precept new staff, promote evidence-based practices, and participate in performance improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy.
• Active licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• NBRC-RRT certificate and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in critical care settings.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care in critical care, including ventilator management and airway procedures.
