Job summary

Alliance Health Group in North Carolina is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist to join a long-term care setting. You will perform respiratory assessments, provide treatments, and educate residents and families, while coordinating with the care team for individualized plans.

The role offers flexible, as-needed scheduling with opportunities for continuing education and professional development. Prior NICU/long-term care exposure is a plus; BLS and NC licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; a bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active North Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• RRT or CRT credential, as applicable.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required depending on facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and monitor status; document findings.
• Administer oxygen, nebulizers, inhaled meds; assist with CPAP/ventilation as needed.
• Educate residents and families on equipment and care techniques.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical teams; respond to emergencies.
