Broad River Rehab in Raleigh, NC has a PRN Respiratory Therapist opportunity for our SNF facility. The role focuses on delivering and directing respiratory care with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities include documenting treatments, communicating results, educating staff, and collaborating with the facility team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. A NC Respiratory license is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a NC Respiratory license in good standing.
• PRN position requiring flexibility to travel to local sites.
• Experience in SNF settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to document and maintain patient care records accurately.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and perform prescribed respiratory treatments and direct nursing staff as appropriate.
• Document pre- and post-treatment status, treatments performed, and progress toward objectives.
• Communicate treatment results to patients, families, facility staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide education and training to nursing staff on signs of respiratory issues and precautions.
• Participate in facility meetings and contribute to GG coding documentation when required.
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with facility staff to ensure optimal patient care.
