Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Care team. You will assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions, operate ventilators, and provide high-level respiratory therapies in a supportive, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• RRT credential and Ohio licensure required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred where stated.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiopulmonary assessments and evaluate respiratory status.
• Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilators and airways.
• Administer gases, aerosols, and airway therapies per protocol.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in trauma and resuscitation.
• Educate patients and families about illness and care plan.
