Job summary

Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join a world-class team delivering advanced care to children. You will work with physicians and nurses to assess and treat respiratory conditions, focusing on airway care and ventilation, in a busy pediatric setting.

This part-time night shift runs 7:00pm–7:30am with rotating weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, a registered RRT, holder of Ohio RCP

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) Board Licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

Provide assessment, treatment, care and evaluation to pediatric patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
Direct respiratory caregivers for delivery of care.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Assess patients for the appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop, implement and monitor plans.
Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.
Perform advanced respiratory care modalities, administer medications and treatments, and perform blood gas analysis.
Educate patients and families about the illness and available community resources.
