Ochsner Health System in Louisiana is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for PRN (CRT/RRT) coverage. You will provide respiratory care, oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing and ventilation support across neonatal to geriatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include performing procedures, documenting clinical information, educating patients and colleagues, and ensuring adherence to policies.

Formación

• Must be licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
• Certification by the NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine and advanced respiratory procedures according to policy.
• Reviews and documents patient clinical information.
• Educates patients and co-workers on procedures and treatment plans.
• Performs diagnostic procedures.
• Provides care appropriate to the age of patient served in assigned area.
• Adapts communication and care to patient population.
