Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Pampa Regional Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner I on a per diem basis. The role involves performing respiratory therapies and pulmonary diagnostics as ordered by the physician, with patient age- and population-specific considerations.

This position requires active RCP license, NBRC CRT, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; associate or bachelor degree preferred; two years acute care experience expected.

Qualifications

• Current RCP license required.
• Current NBRC CRT required; hired before March 2026 exempt
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required upon hire and current
• ACLS certification within 60 days of hire and current
• PALS certification within 60 days of hire and current
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Two (2) years of acute care experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Emphasis on assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of care with age/population considerations.
• In the absence of a supervisor, may be designated Lead RCP for the shift
