Job summary

TriStar Horizon Medical Center is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist PRN to join our team. You will guide patients through routine and critical care, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and manage ventilation across emergency, ICU, and acute settings with access to advanced respiratory technology.

This PRN role offers mentorship, a collaborative team environment with physicians and nurses, and consistent scheduling to support professional growth and stability in patient care.

Qualifications

• STABLE must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• RRT/RCP-State Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner credential as required.
• ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• PALS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status through focused exams and interpret airway patency.
• Deliver oxygen, aerosols, airway clearance and other therapies across settings.
• Manage ventilation and airway support, invasive and noninvasive.
• Educate patients and families; act as clinical resource for care team.
• Maintain and decontaminate equipment; ensure infection prevention standards.
