Job summary

The University of Colorado Denver is seeking a PRN Research Scientist in Assistive Technology to join the Center for Innovative Design and Engineering (CIDE) clinic. Primary focus is wheelchair seating and mobility, with potential duties in nighttime positioning and postural care.

The role is onsite and requires collaboration with clinicians and researchers. Ideal candidates will hold a Physical Therapy license, ATP and SMS credentials, and have extensive experience in assistive technology for

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with licensure.
• Requires 15 years of clinical AT experience with complex patients.
• ATP credential and SMS credential required.

Responsibilities

• Provide services in the CIDE clinic program with emphasis on assistive technology.
• Focus on wheelchair seating and mobility; include nighttime positioning and 24-hour postural care/worksite accommodation.
• Participate in research, teaching and other projects as assigned.
• Coordinate with CRT suppliers, manufacturing reps, and other stakeholders.
• Provide clinic documentation and reports in a timely manner.
• Document device demonstrations and equipment loans as required.
• Maintain professionalism and productivity and ensure high-quality service.
