Job summary

UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health and UW Health, is seeking a PRN Rehabilitation Technician to support therapy goals and safe patient transport. You will collaborate with the rehab team, document observations, and help deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–12 months experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong communication, lifting, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows patient care tasks with the OTR/RPT to help therapy goals.
• Safely transports patients to/from therapy and activities.
• Communicates clearly with the rehabilitation team.
• Observes patient reactions to treatment and follows instructions.
• Lifts and carries equipment up to 50 lbs with proper body mechanics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
