Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL seeks a Registered Nurse Rehab PRN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care following established nursing models. You will collaborate with the care team, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families while advocating for positive outcomes.

Requires Florida RN license or compact licensure with activation within 60 days, a nursing diploma/ASN (BSN preferred), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license or compact licensure with FL activation within 60 days.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Previous acute care experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and during shifts; report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the chart.
• Respond to patient requests promptly and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up.
