Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks Registered Nurses for PRN coverage across non-MAGNET facilities in our system. You will provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, lead other team members, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet age-appropriate care standards.

Emphasis on patient-centered, safe, respectful care aligns with MUSC policies. Requirements include an Associate’s Degree and RN licensure in SC or a compact state plus current BLS

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in nursing and active RN licensure (South Carolina or compact state).
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross BLS certification.
• Prior ER/ICU/PACU experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Lead and coordinate care with multidisciplinary team for age-appropriate patients.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and professional conduct at all times.
• Educate patients and families and promote health teaching and prevention.
