Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, lead other team members, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care at MUSC.

Requires an Associate's Degree, RN licensure in SC or a compact state, and current BLS certification. Prior Surgical Services RN experience is preferred. Schedule is PRN as needed.

Qualificações

• Associate's Degree and a minimum of one year of RN experience required.
• Licensure as an RN by the SC Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Directs and leads other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Provides patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and environmental needs. Plans and coordinates care, health teaching and promotion.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment with patient privacy and professional behavior.
• Participates in a professional practice model and governance, upholding standards of care and accountability.
• Coordinates delivery of patient care using care management principles to identify clinical priorities and improve outcomes.
• Engages in shared governance and fosters a healthy work environment.
