The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for Recovery Services at MUSC. You will deliver patient-centered care in the PACU, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and uphold high standards of safety and professionalism.

Minimum requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing, an active SC RN license (or compact state), and BLS certification. Prior PACU/ER experience is preferred, with flexible PRN scheduling and a focus on comprehensive recovery

Qualificações

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Directs and leads other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Delivers patient/family centered care focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs, including assessment, diagnoses, planning, interventions, and education.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic, and healing environment with attention to privacy, respect, and professionalism.
• Participates in professional practice model activities, governance, standards of care, peer review, and ongoing professional growth.
• Applies care management principles to identify priorities and improve patient outcomes.
