Job summary

Tritical Care, operating in Lancaster, PA, seeks qualified RN professionals for PRN assignments across Neuro Stepdown, Med-Surg, OR, PICU, ICU, ED, BHS, and more. You will deliver patient-centered care, follow facility policies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in dynamic clinical settings.

Ideal candidates hold PA RN licensure, BLS, and relevant specialty experience, with flexibility for days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays in acute care hospitals and specialty units.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license valid for practice in Pennsylvania.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program or education meeting licensure requirements.
• Relevant clinical experience and competency for the assigned specialty.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, as required by the facility.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, critical-thinking, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of patient safety, infection prevention, medication administration, and clinical documentation.
• Ability to meet essential functions and pass onboarding and screenings.
• Reliable transportation to assigned facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and clinical responses.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and policies.
• Recognize and escalate changes in patient condition.
• Document assessments and interventions accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and discharge.
• Maintain infection prevention and safety standards.
• Participate in handoffs and transitions of care.
• Respond to emergencies per facility protocols.
• Perform specialty-specific duties within competency and scope.
