Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. in Philadelphia is seeking a Registered Echo Sonographer with RCS or RDMS experience for PRN day shifts covering vacations. You will perform echocardiograms and TEEs, review histories, and ensure accurate data entry and billing records.

Responsibilities include maintaining imaging in the EHR, operating and cleaning equipment, and participating in on-call coverage per departmental policy. BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiograms (2D, M-mode, color Doppler) per policy.
• Performs transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) as needed per policy.
• Performs dobutamine stress echocardiograms per policy.
• Logs patient/test data for billing and records.
• Maintains and monitors clinical equipment and safety.
• Maintains images in the EHR and disinfects equipment.
• Participates in on-call duties as required by policy.
