Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join our Meadowbrook-based healthcare team. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support quality of life for patients in a hospital setting.

The role covers Holy Redeemer Hospital and Lafayette campus, with an average schedule of 8 hours per month, weekday availability, and occasional weekend coverage. Prior LTC/short-stay rehab and PCC/MDS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (or related field)
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field
• Passed national exam by CDR or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years
• Licensed or certified per state requirements
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures affecting dining and nutrition
• Participate in development and review of continuous quality improvement programs
