Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare and food service team at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. You will assess patients' nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support quality care aligned with patient goals.

This role offers flexible scheduling (8–16 hours weekly), opportunities to educate staff and patients, and integration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination (CDR) or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development and review of continuous quality improvement programs.
